Cork City & County Archive
In this body of work, I turn to the evolving cityscape of Cork and the quiet transformations shaped by time. Light moves across the river and quay walls, colour gathers in reflections and shadows trace the passing of the day. Through paint, I seek to hold these fleeting moments — to make visible the subtle dialogue between permanence and change.
The River Lee flows at the heart of this vision. It is both anchor and motion, constancy and renewal; above, the rhythm of life unfolds. Buildings alter, surfaces weather, people pass — yet the river continues its steady course.
